We’re filming the “Queer Dance Party” shots that will illustrate the life, joy, and generous helping of sexiness that the “San Francisco moral perverts” bring to the world (to, ahem, paraphrase Jerry). Come dressed to impress - whatever that means to you - and get a big pride-on. Drinks & snacks provided. “Sex Crazy” is a music video anti-tribute to the late Jerry Falwell. Using cut-up techniques from surrealist poets (such as Tzara, Gysin, and Burroughs) and filmmakers (such as Martin Arnold), this music video is a joyful, sexy revelation of a hidden narrative implied in Falwell’s speeches and sermons. On the event of his passing, we (the American Heresy collective) imagine a world in which human passion, de-criminalized and re-naturalized, is an ecological necessity for a healthy global climate.
“Sex Crazy” will premier June 28th at the Roxie Theater! After that, we’re taking it straight to YouTube. Get ready to get famous!
